PES 2018 is finally out
A statement from the konami September 14, 2017 –
Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. announced today that PES 2018 hit shelves this week with fans all over the world eagerly anticipating the game’s release. Voted ‘Best Sports Game’ at Gamescom this year, PES 2018 has been generating hype across the gaming industry particularly among those fans lucky enough to play the title already via demo or at recent events. Widely available in retail from Tuesday, September 12, 2017, this is set to be one of the franchise’s most eagerly anticipated releases as fans finally get their hands on the hotly anticipated game.

PES 2018 retains the immediacy and total control the series is famed for but with a fresh new look and feel and one of the most realistic gameplay experiences on the market.
This year, PES 2018 sees huge pre-order content incentives with those who purchase prior to launch, gaining access to track running’s most decorated athlete and the fastest man in the world Usain Bolt, and Argentine football Legend, Diego Maradona, joining the PES family as ambassadors and both playable in game. In addition, the roster of Legends continues to grow with one of football’s most recognizable football player of modern times, David Beckham, only available in PES 2018. Other Legends include, Brazilians Romario and Sócrates, Borussia Dortmund’s Lars Ricken, Karl-Heinz Riedle, Michael Zorc, Norbert Dickel and Jörg Heinrich, FC Internazionale Milano’s Javier Zanetti, Dejan Stanković and Francesco Toldo, as well as Liverpool icons Ian Rush, Robbie Fowler and Michael Owen, also featured in PES 2018 – with more Legends to be announced later this year!

PES 2018 also celebrates a number of clubs that will appear in this year’s game including:
CR Vasco da Gama, Colo-Colo, Sporting Cristal, Alianza Lima, Atlético Nacional and Millionarios F.C. to name a few.
A brand new user-interface greets users, as the new in-game presentation means gamers will notice a broadcast feel to the game. Fans will play matches at a more realistic pace, while a new strategic dribbling system offers greater close control, including contextual shielding to protect the ball.
Control is everything in a football game, and
PES 2018 retains the immediacy and total control the series is famed for alongside new refinements that hone its authenticity. Matches are played at a more realistic pace, while a new strategic dribbling system offers greater close control, including contextual shielding to protect the ball. Similarly, simple movements of the control stick can be used to initiate shimmies designed to wrong-foot defenders. KONAMI has also implemented a
REAL Touch + process, wherein players will react to receiving a ball using permissible parts of the body, such as chest, head and legs to bring a pass under control dependent on the height and pace of the incoming ball. All set piece routines have also been totally reworked, notably the way penalty kicks are taken and a one-player kick off routine as well.

PES 2018 also features a new REAL Capture system which provides true-to-life lighting across day and night games, as well as over 20,000 components that have been faithfully recreated including the turf, tunnels, and the surrounding areas of stadia making stadiums such as Camp Nou and Signal Iduna Park look like their real-life counterpart – both of which are exclusive in PES 2018. The individuality of how players move, shape to shoot and make passes is also closer to real life, with KONAMI motion-capturing players within realistic environments in a complete overhaul of the in-game animation system. Core movements such as walking, turning, and posture have been reworked also, while the player models now have greater variety, with attention paid to the way kits fit differing physiques. KONAMI’s agreements with partner teams will also see tattoos recreated on certain players as well.
